The Lynne Sage Cancer Research Foundation (LSCRF) has just announced that Academy Award, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress, director and producer Sally Field will be the Guest Speaker at the Annual Fall Benefit Luncheon. The luncheon takes place on Tuesday, October 14, at the Hilton Chicago.

LSCRF was founded in 1985 in Chicago, and since then has raised nearly $30 million to fund research initiatives whose goal is to understand breast cancer. In addition to trying to find unique and innovate treatments and early detection of the disease, the foundation also funds fellowships in the areas of breast surgery, medical oncology, and breast reconstruction.
Tickets for the luncheon are $275 and are on sale now. All proceeds, including those from the “Purse-sue the Cure” silent purse auction, will fund research and educational programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
