Sam Adams' Lakeview Taco Fest celebrates the stuffed tortilla

Celebrate the first weekend of autumn with the glorious taco.  Chicago celebrates the tortilla-stuffed fave at the inaugural Sam Adams’ Lakeview Taco Fest in the bustling Southport Corridor September 21-22.  Sponsored by brewer Sam Adams, the fest will feature more than  dozen of their seasonal beers on tap.  There will beer and taco pairings, an activity/play area for kids, and you will be able to text vote for Chicago’s “Best Taco.”

Besides delicious food from Bodega Bar de Tacos, Cafe’ El Tapatio, Crosby’s Kitchen, Mystic Celt, The Pony, Taco Joint and Toons Bar & Grill there will be Lucha libre (Mexican wrestlers) in action each afternoon from 5p – 6pm at Southport and Cornelia.

Saturday, September 21

3:30  p.m.                    Rico (funk/soul)

Sunday, September 22

Sam Adams’ Lakeview Taco Fest is on Southport between Addison (3600 N) and Newport (3500 N) Saturday 12noon-8p and Sunday 12noon-9pm.  A small gate donation of $5 benefits the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce. For more visit www.chicagoevents.com
