The great thing about chili is that you can have it every day of the week and it’ll be different each time. Especially if you get it at Rockit Bar & Grill in River North. Their third annual ChiliFest begins tomorrow and they’ll be featuring a different type of chili every day. They’ll be using buffalo, bison, and angus beef; boar, bacon, pork and chicken, and vegetarians can enjoy a lentil soy sausage bowl every day. One type features local ingredients and another’s so hot it’ll melt the ice in your cocktail.
Each serving fills a pasta bowl and is $10. Chilifest runs from January 17 – 21. Find your favorite and then vote for which three will be featured at Rockit Wrigley on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
