Sippin' and Sloopin': Sloopbeer Pig Roast BBQ/Beer Bash with South Loop Breweries

One of the best things about the craft beer industry is the camaraderie and support among brewers. Example: Wednesday night’s South Loop brewery party. Motor Row and South Loop Brewing Company and their soon-to-be neighborho Baderbraü are joining forces for one big bbq. The Sloopbeer Pig Roast BBQ/Beer Bash, a Chicago Craft Beer Week event, will feature 16oz “samples” (that’s my kind of sample) of six different beers. The pig roast part features an all-you-can-eat bounty of BBQ from Chef Mark Rimkus of Flo & Santos (1310 S. Wabash Ave.  Chicago, IL). You’ll even get a Lawnmower Lager beer mug to take home with you (empty, of course).

Tickets are $25 for the event and it runs from 5:30pm to 9pm.
