That picture above was what The Tasting Room used in their email announcing a tasting of their new spring menu.
Today through Saturday they’re offering a sneak peek of Executive Chef Marc Kuchenbecker’s offerings. The four-course menu is only $25 and includes “an amuse of Housemade Bacon wrapped Elephant Garlic, followed by Grilled Market Asparagus with Welsh Rarebit, Poached Farm Egg & Toasted Housemade Rye. The third course offered will be a Surf & Turf of Grilled Filet Mignon & Alaskan Jumbo Shrimp with Truffle Mashed Potatoes & Hen of The Woods Mushroom. For dessert Chef will be offering a French Chocolate Profiterole & Chocolate-Port Sauce.”
With a menu like that, you don’t even have to be funny. But it doesn’t hurt if you are.
