Tea For Tyrants – and for You?

Are you a Lovely Tyrant? Just what is a Lovely Tyrant? To be literal, at least in this sense, it is to be a folk/rock band out of Chicago made up of Phil Lomac and Andy Angelos.

These benevolent despots are releasing their EP, “Tea For Tyrants“, on the last day of May at the Tonic Room. Instead of hawking CDs for sale they’re offering their own tonic – a green tea that’s as “hypnotic and smooth” as their sound. Purchase some of the limited edition run of the tea and you’ll get a download of the EP for free. The packaging is even hand printed by artist Jeremy Cody. Visit SoundCloud to hear a clip of “Fresh Paint & Turpentine” from the EP.

Tickets to the show are $8, but we’re doing a giveaway and you choose what you get! Pick one of the packages below and leave a comment telling me why you deserve to win it, and you could have your Tyrant and drink it, too.
