The 606 Lights Up with A Walk with Light

This Sunday the 606 lights up with A Walk With Light. Part of The People’s Promenade, a quarterly series of community walks highlighting Chicago’s popular park, this event invites the community to wear or carry lights along the trail. The walk will culminate in a Festival of Light in Walsh Park with bonfires, storytelling, and ‘smores.

No open flames are allowed on the walk, but you can bring any other source of illumination. String yourself with holiday lights, carry LED lanterns, whatever you can find that will brighten the trail.
