Five-star luxury is not just a far-away dream. In Chicago, one of the finest hotels in the world sits on the shores of the Chicago River waiting to impress you with the spectacular experiences that only the finest of hotels can offer.
The Langham, Chicago occupies the first 13 floors of a 52-story skyscraper designed by celebrated architect Mies van der Rohe. In recognition of its architectural and cultural significance, the building was declared a Chicago Landmark in 2008 and entered into the National Register of Historic Places. A well-known landmark in the city, The Langham, Chicago continues the traditions, values and legendary service established by The Langham, London in 1865.
The luxurious comfort and five-star service offered at The Langham, Chicago has not gone unrecognized. Recently, I was invited to attend a private screening of Hotel Impossible: 5-Star Secrets starring Anthony Melchiorri and featuring The Langham’s superb staff and awesome facilities. Hotel Impossible generally focuses on turning around a failing hotel, but this new spinoff goes in the opposite direction, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most amazing properties in the world. Melchiorri was justifiably impressed by his visit and you can screen the full episode at the Hotel Impossible website.
The advance screening took place in The Langham’s stunning Regent Suite. Measuring a generous 2,700 ft², the Regent Suite evokes a sense of glamour and refinement while incorporating the latest service innovations and technological amenities. Honestly, this is one of the most fabulous hotel suites I have ever encountered with some of the most impressive panoramic views of Chicago that you are likely to fine anywhere. The party was catered with food from Travelle, The Langham’s superb restaurant. Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel, Travelle highlights Chef Tim Graham’s interpretation of Mediterranean-inspired cuisine – classic, elegant, and definitely worth a visit.
The Langham, Chicago is located at 330 North Wabash Avenue. You can contact the hotel at (312) 923-9988 and their website is detailed and informative. Follow The Langham’s social media conversations on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
