The Local Tourist On ChicagoNow

The Chicago Tribune is rolling out a new website this month. ChicagoNow brings together a “network of blogs featuring passionate experts on a wide range of uniquely Chicago topics“. There are about 30 right now with plans to have 80 by the end of the year.

Well, I am proud to say that I’m one of those passionate experts! My beat is helping tourists feel like locals. I’ll be pointing out fun things to do outside of the standard tourist attractions. There will also be information on The Basics – tips on getting around, stories that bring to life Chicago’s feisty personality, and anything else that will help visitors truly enjoy this fantastic city.

I’ll make sure to post here when something new’s been added. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, I hope to be useful, informative, and if nothing else, entertaining!
