This Dinner is the Hottest Ticket In Town {Enter to win!}

Jimmy Bannos and Cleetus Friedman walk into a kitchen…that’s not the beginning of a bad joke, that’s the start of a very special, very HOT dinner, and you’re invited.

On June 22 two of the hottest chefs in Chicago are joining forces to bring you a sizzling multi-course dinner. Chef Jimmy Bannos of Heaven on Seven and Chef Cleetus Friedman of Caffe Baci are heating things up with their “Hot as a Mutha” dinner, a six-course extravaganza featuring spicy cuisine from start to finish.

The dinner is the first in the Family Tree dining series hosted by Chef Bannos. With this series he’s inviting chefs who earned their chops at his cajun restuarant before moving on to become names in their own rights. This spirit of collaboration and celebration is what makes Chef Bannos one of the most well-respected names in the industry (in addition to his delicious cuisine, of course!).

The two chefs will each create three courses for the six-course dinner:

• Course 1 (Jimmy): Hot Tots, Red Scorpion Pork Debris with Jalapeño Chihuahua Cheese
• Course 2 (Cleetus): Red lentil mulligatawny, 7 pot douglah ham hock, green curry cream
• Course 3 (Cleetus): Ghost pepper marinated steak sope, Jalapeño & smoked poblano pico, cumin cream
• Course 4 (Jimmy): Carolina Reaper & Sichuan Chili Pepper “pissed off” shrimp over rice
• Course 5 (Jimmy): Nashville Hot chicken with Chipotle chili slaw
• Course 6 (Cleetus): Ancho cherry chocolate gelato pie, donut crumb crust

Can’t handle the heat? Don’t sweat it; they’ve got a NOT as Hot as a Mutha option.

Tickets are $60 including tax and gratuity. Alcohol is not included but there’ll be a cash only bar. If you’ve ever been to Heaven On Seven you know it’s intimate and seats are limited, so get your tickets now before they evaporate.
