This is How the Gypsies Do It: “The Best of Bucharest” October 18

For over thirty years Little Bucharest Bistro, 3661 N Elston Ave, has been sharing the cuisine and culture of Romania. On October 18th, they’re hosting an all-day celebration. The Best of Bucharest will feature grape stomping, both pig and lamb roasts, Gypsy minstrels and dancers, and a buffet of “Bountiful Delicacies” (menu below).

The celebration begins at noon and runs until Midnight, but you may want to make sure your plates are clean by 9 pm. That’s when owner Branko will – literally – break plates to ward off any demons in the room.

Reservations are recommended and you can make them by calling 773-604-8500.
