Martini lunches may be frowned upon nowadays, but there’s nothing wrong with having a glass of wine mid-day. In fact, David Burke’s Primehouse is encouraging that behavior. From September 10 – 14 you can sample up to fifteen wines during lunch for $10. Monday through Thursday they’ll be featuring a different region so you can come back and never try the same wines twice, and then return on Friday to enjoy your favorites.
You do have to eat, especially if you have any plans to return to work! For just $15 you can get Chef Rick Gresh’s Clambake In A Can, a hearty meal of clams, corn, dry aged spicy sausage, chicken drumets, red skin potatoes, thymes and bay leaf. If that’s not enough you can add a lobster tail for $10. Prefer turf instead of surf? Get the Steak Tasting Plate for $22.
