If you haven’t made it out so far this week, you might want to hurry over to the Hard Rock Café. They are hosting their exclusive Treasures of the Hard Rock Tour, featuring the Gone Too Soon collection, a very rare memorabilia tour for a short time. This exhibition is only available until March 3.
Gone Too Soon
According to the Hard Rock Café, “This is very exclusive and we’re one of only a few cafés in the US who are receiving this tour. The tour pays tribute to music icons whose lives and careers were tragically cut short. The one-of-a-kind collection features items from contemporary talent, such as a dress worn by Amy Winehouse during a 2008 Nelson Mandela tribute concert, a 90’s stage outfit from Whitney Houston and an 8th grade yearbook from Kurt Cobain. It also includes artifacts from legends of the past, like the John Lennon’s hand-written lyrics to the Beatles classic song ‘Help,’ a cape used on the cover of Janis Joplin’s album Pearl and a 1968 Gibson SG Custom played by Jimi Hendrix in concert and on the Dick Cavett Show.“
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to see previously un-released treasures from Hard Rock’s vault. Like the featured rock artists, this tour will also be Gone Too Soon – on March 3, to be exact.
The Hard Rock Café is located at 63 West Ontario Street in Chicago. You can get more information on their website.
