There’s no such thing as a free lunch, but there is such a thing as free rent. Chicago-based RentSocial is giving one lucky renter up to $10,000 for a year of free rent. All you have to do is register and fill out the entry form. While you’re at it, figure out what your dream apartment looks like, because they want to know that, too. Don’t worry about writing the best treatise on patio vs. deck and garden vs. penthouse; they’re drawing the winner randomly. They’re also giving two other lucky winners $1,000, which could cover a utility or two.
