Winner Announced for Out of the Blues Passes!

A phenomenal fundraising event is taking place at the House of Blues this Friday and you have got to be a part of the fun.   Congratulations to ziggityzack for winning the two passes to Out of the Blues!

Gurnee’s Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center (ZCenter) is hosting their third annual “Out of the Blues” benefit concert.  Blues Hall of Fame inductee Lonnie Brooks will rock the stage and joining him will be legendary vocalist Shemekia Copeland.  WGN radio personality Garry Meier will be emceeing.

This event is on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 7 pm – 11 pm and is open to all.  For $175 (all but $50 is tax deductible) you can enjoy general admission standing room with four hours of open bar, energizing music, wonderful food, exciting networking and social opportunities and one amazing time.  There are two other packages for admission and sponsorship that include reserved tables and opera boxes.  For more information, please click HERE.

I attended “Out of the Blues” last year (pictured right) and was highly impressed.  The energy and enthusiasm from the attendees and employees of the ZCenter filled the House of Blues with excitement.  

Another great feature of this event is their live auction with insanely amazing prizes.  Last year they auctioned off a motorcycle, private jet trips, autographed guitars and more.  This year’s live auction will not disappoint.

All proceeds from “Out of the Blues” support the work of ZCenter with their 24-hour crisis intervention, counseling services and advocacy support for victims of sexual assault, abuse and rape (and their loved ones); educational prevention; and awareness programs.
