World Music Festival Offers Eight Days of Free Concerts

From September 21st through the 27th Chicago will be celebrating music that’s as diverse as our population. The World Music Festival returns for eight days of concerts at venues all over the city, and they’re all free!

Participating venues range from the Old Town School of Music in Lincoln Square, to the Navy Pier Beer Garden, to the National Museum of Mexican Art. There are also concerts at Millennium Park’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion and the Humboldt Park Boathouse. The festival culminates in a day-long series at the Chicago Cultural Center on September 27th.

Did I mention all of these concerts are free?

Check out the complete schedule on World Music Festival’s website, and you can also follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
