This Sunday Culinary Fight Club is taking it to the next level. The Inaugural Culinary Fight Fest will feature fourteen previous contestants in a battle for the Culinary Fight Fest Chicago Cup, and you help pick who wins.
Each chef will share his or her signature bite and attendees will vote for their four favorites. The top four chefs will then create a dish from the same surprise ingredients in a battle for the cup and the $1,000 prize. In addition to cold hard cash and a shiny Cup, the winner will also receive a Golden Ticket to the World Food Championships and a chance to win $100,000 at that competition.
The chefs aren’t the only winners. Everyone who attends gets to try those fourteen signature bites, plus the dish the four top competitors will make. You’ll also get four drink tickets for Sam Adams beer, the chance to win drawing prizes, poker and casino games, and more.
Perhaps the biggest benefit, though, is the reason Culinary Fight Club hosts these events in the first place. Twenty percent of proceeds for this event are being donated to Fight2Feed, a nonprofit that fights hunger in Chicago through partnerships with restaurants and food trucks.
