You won't be allergic to Abiquiu Cafe

My mom’s lactose intolerant. I don’t just mean she can take a couple of Lactaid and be done with it. Nope, she’s one of those that can tell butter’s in a dish before it’s brought out of the kitchen. So when I checked out the website for just-opened Abiquiu Cafe in Lakeview I was pleased to see that they list several allergies and which dishes will offend. Looks like there’s something for everyone: no peanuts or peanut oil, no soy products, and those with gluten allergies can have corn tortillas and even the chips served with salsa are made from corn. If you like seafood, however, you’re out of luck.
